Trans Youth Virtual Advocacy Training

Share the Love 2020

Youth and families came together to enjoy a taco bar and desserts, face painting, music, activities for ages 5+, and more.
Tweens and teens also were able to participate in the kickoff of the “How to Do Life: Taking Care of YOU” program with yoga and mindfulness with Caleb, and a discussion and support chat with Nick.

5th Annual Empowerment Workshop: CONNECT

Our annual workshop brought together trans/gender expressive youth and their parents/caregivers in an opportunity to come together as a community. From drag queen story time for the young children to workshops to inspire and educate youth and adults, we achieved our goal to CONNECT.

4th Annual Empowerment Workshop: I Am Enough

The 3rd Annual Stand with Trans Picnic was held on August 12 at the Royal Oak Memorial Park. Zingerman’s Community of Businesses and Achatz Pies provided baked goods. Stand with Trans grilled hot dogs and everyone brought something to share. And, the Meadowbrook Ice Cream truck arrived and gave out 150 delicious frozen treats.

Stand with Trans rallied on the Michigan Capitol steps in Lansing in support of Gavin’s case with the Supreme Court. Gavin was fighting for the right to utilize the school restroom that best fit his gender identity.
